The Office of the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion serves as ASUCR's central hub for equity advocacy, identity-centered programming, and inclusive campus climate work at UC Riverside. Led by the elected VP of DEI, the office advances diversity and inclusion across every level of university life — from legislative advocacy and policy reform to direct partnerships with UCR's 11 Student Resource Centers and identity-focused campus communities. Through its team of appointed liaisons and directors, the office amplifies the voices of students with disabilities, Indigenous students, first-generation students, and gender-diverse communities, while also co-chairing the Diversity Council and overseeing the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Rooted in UCR's Principles of Community, the office is committed to building a campus where every student has equitable access to the resources, representation, and support they need to thrive.
