• 26-27 ASUCR Photobooth Assistant Application

    The photobooth assistant is responsible for managing the photobooth service requests — from initial scheduling through event execution. This role supports student organizations, campus departments, and ASUCR-sponsored events by delivering a polished, photobooth experience. We are looking to hire a team of 2-3 assistants to cover the scheduling and coordination, administrative taskes and event coverage. 

    Duties

    • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Receive and respond to photobooth service inquiries from student organizations, campus departments, and ASUCR offices in a timely manner.
    • Manage the photobooth reservation calendar, confirming bookings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and sending confirmation communications to requesting parties.
    • Coordinate event logistics with requestors including setup location, start and end times, anticipated attendance, and any special requests.
    • Maintain an organized intake process to track upcoming events, request status, and client communication history.
    • Follow up with requestors post-event to collect feedback and document any equipment or service issues.
    • Background Graphics Management
    • Upload, organize, and test background graphic files in the photobooth software system prior to each scheduled event.
    • Coordinate with requestors to collect approved graphic assets (logos, custom backgrounds, themed templates) within established deadlines.
    • Ensure all uploaded graphics meet required resolution, file format, and branding standards before event activation.
    • Maintain a digital asset library of frequently used and archived backgrounds for future use.
    • Troubleshoot graphic display issues and escalate unresolved technical problems to the appropriate staff contact.
    • Event Staffing & On-Site Orientation
    • Staff photobooth events as assigned, arriving in advance of the start time to complete setup, equipment checks, and software configuration.
    • Operate the photobooth throughout the event, assisting guests with posing, print retrieval, and digital sharing options.
    • Represent ASUCR professionally during events, maintaining a welcoming and service-oriented presence with all guests.
    • Monitor equipment performance throughout the event and address minor technical issues in real time.
    • Break down and properly store all photobooth equipment following each event, completing a post-event checklist before departure.


    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled UC Riverside student in good academic and judicial standing.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a scheduling system with multiple concurrent bookings.
    • Basic proficiency with digital file management, including uploading and organizing image files.
    • Reliable and punctual with the ability to commit to event staffing assignments, including evenings and weekends as needed.
    • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to engage professionally with diverse campus communities.
    • Must be a full-time undergraduate (12+ units).

    Pay: $17.00 an hour 
    Hours:
     Averages 10-12 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; hours during summer & breaks may vary.
